Liz heads up a team of folk, dedicated to bringing you the finest information – or at least interesting information about the private and general aviation industry. She is presently nagging them to add their bios here, so you can see what kind of services and skills we can bring to your party…
Her first job was a stand-up comedian in the UK. A major career handicap was a complete inability to remember jokes, so she turned to journalism instead. She fell in love with flying 13 years ago, earned her private pilot’s license, and now writes almost exclusively about private aviation. She has flown in most of the current production models of business aircraft, and has strong opinions about what makes for a great flight. Career highlights include interviewing John Travolta, Jackie Chan, Nick Mason and William Shatner, as well as flying in many weird and wonderful aircraft.
Her writing pedigree goes like this…From December 2010 to March 2015 she edited Inflight magazine for HMG Aerospace, and now their business aviation consultant. She is also business aviation editor for African and Arabian Aerospace magazines. She has written for the world’s top aviation publications, such as AIN, Aviation Week, BART International, Flight Global and Fly Corporate, as well as luxury lifestyle and consumer publications, including: Altitudes, Bombardier Business Aviation Experience Magazine (for customers only), Business Jet Traveler, the Daily Telegraph, the Financial Times, Invictus, Jet Gala, the Robb Report and the South China Morning Post. She wrote and edited the Altitudes annual guide to in production business aircraft for seven years and co authored ‘100 Greatest Women in Aviation’ with Sanjay Rampal.
If you asked her how she ended up in her dream job, she couldn’t tell you, but is absolutely delighted that she did.
