Is EBACE 2015 the Laud-est show on earth?

EBACE (the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition) starts officially on Tuesday, but there are already headlines pouring out from Europe's number one business aviation show. This morning Formula 1 Champion Niki Lauda kicked off proceedings by announcing he'd bought a new  Bombardier Global 7000 aircraft. Spring is in the air…

... Literally in our industry’s case. Traditionally this is the time for growth, new beginnings and births and fortunately my inbox seems to be bearing this out with a plethora of press releases with actual concrete good news, rather than simple vague numbers that melt into nothing when scrutinised closely. Working weekends really sucks. Except last Sunday when Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. invited me to sample its demonstrator G450, which has winged its way to Singapore for the Airshow. The aircraft features the Elite interior, an all-new optional package, incorporating elements from the company’s flagship G650. It is also available for G550 aircraft. The day started pretty well. Journalists on the tradeshow daily newspaper circuit generally leave for the show site at horribly-early o’clock.
