AIMEing for the top
This post appears on my client's website www.hmgaerospace.com for whom I am proud to edit Inflight magazine. On 2 February I moderated a conference at the Aircraft Interiors Middle East show in Dubai. Here are my thoughts. We had stimulating and useful discussions in our sights as we headed to Dubai for the Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME) show this year for our second Inflight workshop and awards at our IFEC pavilion and were not disappointed. “In the same way it is difficult for an airline to measure the influence IFEC makes on a customer’s purchasing decision, it is difficult for [...]
Doctor’s orders – wellness on tap at World Travel Market and Luxury Travel Fair
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyhs442Ovrk I have to admit upfront to an unashamed plug for Zening Resorts in Cyprus in this video. I have no affiliation with the company, but have visited there twice. Each time I have come away the richer. The brainchild of Ajay Goyal (Google him - he's a good guy and cracking publisher and journalist), Zening was five years in the making, and came into being after extensive research, where he travelled to 12 countries over five years. There are plenty good reasons, most of which centre on the fact this is a HUGE military and commercial show, and my little sphere of influence in the aeronautical world spans business and general aviation and cabin management for commercial. Bumped into aviation's favourite rockstar Bruce Dickinson at the Textron Aviation chalet. He was admiring the new Bell 525, but had apparently been incredibly impressed with the new Scorpion cockpit and was waxing [...]
Popularity increasing
Was suddenly getting a lot of comments on a post I wrote 2 years ago. All very complimentary - then I realised this must -sigh- be spamming. It has nudged me into a quick update today. Sooo busy finishing a book on private jets, writing a couple articles prior to heading to Hamburg next week for the Aircraft Interiors Show (http://www.aircraftinteriorsexpo.com) for Inflight magazine (www.hmgaerospace.com) , which I edit , then to China for the Asian Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition. Hamburg's going to be very buzzy. Thales, Panasonic and Lufthansa Systems have kindly invited me to go visit them for [...]
