Gogo Video + successful AIX as connectivity proves to be king (again)

https://vimeo.com/125017353 I was sorry not to be in Hamburg this week, for the plethora of connectivity and IFE announcements that swept through my inbox. Sounds like it was a truly exciting show. Luckily my friends at Gogo, Thales, Inmarsat, Panasonic, Rockwell Collins  and the mighty Global Eagle Entertainment kept me updated from afar. AIMEing for the top

This post appears on my client's website www.hmgaerospace.com for whom I am proud to edit Inflight magazine. British firms had a strong showing and I was minded somewhat of the startling nineties pairing of bad boy Michael Hutchence and the squeaky clean Kylie Minogue, when I heard the news that two leading British business aviation companies with interests in the Middle East and Africa, Hangar 8 and [...]

Bruce and Boeing Well, well, well...there appears to be a major world airshow on my doorstep practically and I've not mentioned it in my blog at all. There are plenty good reasons, most of which centre on the fact this is a HUGE military and commercial show, and my little sphere of influence in the aeronautical world spans business and general aviation and cabin management for commercial. Bumped into aviation's favourite rockstar Bruce Dickinson at the Textron Aviation chalet. He was admiring the new Bell 525, but had apparently been incredibly impressed with the new Scorpion cockpit and was waxing [...]
